Mrs. Morin

The role of inclusive learning services facilitator includes student assessments, individual program planning, collaboration with staff and parents regarding strategies for successful inclusion, learning materials development, and managing the assistive technology our students use.  Miss Antony, our school counsellor, and I also work collaboratively to support students and their families.

Although I grew up in Sherwood Park in the EICS family, I started my teaching career in 1999 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.  Teaching at Sacred Heart School with an inspiring group of staff and students cemented my commitment to working with students with exceptionalities.  I joined the EICS staff in 2001 and started my Masters Degree in School Counselling the same year.  I have taught grades 3 through 6, worked as the Early Reading Intervention teacher, and was part of the Assistive Technology Team for 2 years.  I have been in the role of facilitator for 14+ years in both a K-9 setting as well as my current assignment at our middle school.

When I'm not at work I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  I am blessed to be mom to an eleven yr old daughter and 5 year old son who make life awesome.
